@stitchinthecity Not the best movie ever but it was fantastic; kind of a cross between The Matrix and The BFG!

First time I’ve seen this, made 26 years ago, it looks a bit ridiculous these days.

Wingsuit Basejumping!
I was emailed a fantastic video featuring Jeb Corliss in a wingsuit. I was emailed a ‘jetman’ video too; but I think anyone with enough financial backing, good health and spacial awareness, and fearlessness, can flick a switch and fly a jet-powered wing. A wingsuit however without an engine of any kind at all to stablise the pilot makes flying with a wingsuit that much more...

The @UKVolkswagen Bumper Cars!
The “Dodgems” bumper cars were in Milton Keynes at CentreMK, courtesy of VW who were promoting their cabriolet cars, and everyone got to ride on these bumper cars for free! I had three goes myself over the afternoon, but couldn’t record and drive. Enjoy the sound effects! Sorry about the huge black bars, I should have recorded in ‘Landscape’. I could have stretched...

Universal Time Coordinated (not in U.S!)
I have heard about webinars literally every day so far this week. The latest is at 11 PT, 1CT, 2ET. If you are not in America, and there are more people online in Europe than the entire population of the United States, then you may find this annoying as I do. In “Universal Time” that webinar is at 6pm, or 7pm in the UK (in Summer) so maybe the organisers of this webinar recognise...

AntiMatter - The Space Beyond Space
I found this video, the latest from SpaceRip, which I subscribe to and which provides some of the best Astronomical videos on YouTube. The video starts off by introducing the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, it has been installed on the International Space Station following a successful launch on STS134 - the penultimate launch of the space shuttle. It is essentially a telescope but unlike other...

Join me on Google+
I am on Google+, the new kid on the social networking block. If you’ve not yet joined, I recommend it, it’s like Facebook without distractions and like Twitter without the character limits. The best of both really and that is why it is by far the fastest growing website ever. I’m not going to write a big review or anything, just share a couple of videos with you. Above is the...

iCloud Features
I am using some of the iCloud features now, at least I thought they were part of iCloud and it’s just fantastic! I bought some apps earlier and am thinking I need to sync my phone to get them all on there, or buy them again on my iPhone, but I just noticed they are already on my phone, even though they were purchased on my computer! I’ve just now purchased Mobile Mouse Pro on my Mac...

Losing My Connection
I am relaxing in the garden at my parents house. Here to clean and sell my car, but today happens to also be the day the phone line is disconnected and reconnected in a different place to make space for a new roof. So for now I have no connection. Times like this are the main reason why I wish I had an iPhone4 because the mobile signal on that phone can be used to create a wireless LAN (wifi) to...
